Is this engine available in the US ?

I think it died when shortly after diesel shot to $4/gallon.

that engine got the axe when it became goverment motors... it may come back some day but don't count on it...

It was killed before the Government Motors thing - a combination of short sighted GM management and ever changing government emissions regulations put the spike in what looked to be a very promising engine.

they should relaunch it and have it bio-diesel ready
