Pottery Barn R/C Defender in Action!

For those who are interested...

I uploaded a couple of short, low res movies of the Pottery Barn R/C Defender running ove r a rock and some books. You can see the doors open and close, the suspension articulate a bit (Looks like the sway bars are still attached ) and the turn signals come on. There is audio and you can hear the engine noises as well. These were shot in the low speed four wheel drive mode. Enjoy...

I am same as you Chris, get another just in case I screw something up. Gotta figure out a good source of paint. Maybe a model store or a paint store. I see there going to be a lot a taping off to do.

Yeah, firm believer in a backup model for those uncharted model modifications. LOL
I haven't looked at the body to see how far it will break down. I had some Freelander models and got everything off the metal body to spray the whole thing in one shot.

I should start a thread just for our insane LR toys for us serious sickos.

I got mine today... It is really cool and has a lot of functionality. My 6 year old son, took it and won't give it back. So, I'm guessing that I am going to have to order a second one.

Just arrived! So how are you going to paint these? I assume light sanding then use model paint.
