Porsche Collection

I know there are a few people on here who have Porsches. I went to an alumni event for my girlfriend's highschool this weekend. It was held at Stanley Gold's house. He has an insane collection.

Pics for htose interested

That is an insane collection.

I have (1) Porsche - a 1993 RS America that I am the original owner of. I did not see one of those in these picture. He is missing a great one

Seriously. Nothing says "tool" like parking your Porsches in your backyard for your high school reunion party.

What if they are rovers and you have no where else to park them?

What was the silver one, a 959? I am sure that he could have been a tad more subtle... Like using $100 bills as costers.

Little background. This is a private east coast high school that is about to turn 200 years old. An alumni thought he could get people to come to an event by having a minor car show at the same time. It worked as I wouldn't have gone otherwise. The collection and house belong to the alumni's parents. It was held in his backyard in Beverly Hills. Drinks, food, and cars. Works for me. As for the collection, no RS America but that is on my list of cars I want. If it was my collection, there would be a 959, late 70's 930, and a RS America. If anyone has one of those and wants to trade for my 110 let me know. Ha

Bert. Very nice. Do you track it? I almost bought a nice RSA before my 993tt, was a blast to drive, but didn't have the oomph of twin turbos...lol.

Man, you don't see a 959 everyday! Nice collection, and my kind of party. Forget the annoying small talk, lets drink and look at cars.

Yeah I sat in the 959 for an embarrassing long time. It is completely stock with a decrease in horsepower because of some emissions stuff. I wanted to ask the guy why he didn't send it to http://www.canepa.com/ to make it the car it should be but I didn't want to act like I knew more than him and his 50 year collection.
