Places to Park in Napa/Sonoma?

Hi All!

My wife and I are heading out to wine country for a couple of weeks right before the 4th. I was lucky enough to be able to talk the her into letting me tow the Defender out behind the Range Rover. Now, I need a place to park the Range and the trailer for a few nights (3 or 4 to be exact). I have been researching trying to figure out what to do. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Jeff for the offer. Your a little out of my way as after we spend some time in Napa/Sonoma, we are heading down to Monterey/Carmel. I have the parking figured out there so I had planned on taking the Range and trailer then. Just having a rough time otherwise.

If its just you and the wife why not just drive the 90 and leave the range rover behind?

That was the plan initially, the wife vetoed it. We did a cross-country trip last year in the Defender when we bought it in PA and drove it back to Colorado. We had some temperamental issues with the D and she was not interested it that again. Plus, the Range is more comfy...

Better gas milage towing it than driving it :-)

Just look on line for camp grounds that take RVs. You should be able to find something. If you want to park in Marin and drive the 40 miles to Napa you can come to my place. PM me if you want

Is there a Walmart in Napa? They allow free overnight parking for RV's and cars, I can't imagine them having an issue for a range with a trailer.

Hey Dave,

I live in Napa, no problem parking the RR and trailer at my place. I can help with the wine country stuff too if needed. Let me know...
