pic from florida rd & mabel

A few of us did OFR & Mabel over the weekend. I managed to break two rear half shafts, was lucky it was either side as i had spares with me. Don managed to really twist his track rod beyond repair, Forrest had a spare with him. You can see pictures here;

Did the other AA D90 make it up this part of the route?

Looks like a great time. OFR is on my list of trails to do but sounds burly with the number of broken pieces you guys had. It's funny, I grew up in Western MA - wish I had my 90 and knew about all those spots before I moved away.

I bent my tie rod in July, although not as bad as Don, I replaced it with a RoverTrack HD joint. I don't know if it was just me but on the part of Rattlesnake I did a few weeks ago the front end felt more solid over the rock climbing portions. Could have been the new tie rods too. At any rate I'd recomend he goes with that unit from Keith @ RT. Service and product is awesome.

That shot is on MaBell not OFR. OFR has no legal bypasses.

Dave isn't really active on any forums. However his friend Don (the pickup RRC) is and he's the one who inspired the transformation. They're over on SNHLR.

I think Don's ultimate goal is to end up with a series body on his classic.
