Personalized License Plate

Personalized License Plate

I am looking for ideas on personalized license plates for my defenders. My first D110 plate was ON SFRI. Since I sold that D110 someone else now has that plate, and I need ideas for new ones. The requirements are six letters or numbers, and one dash or space.

Here is what I have so far.

D110: SUFRI LR-D110 DFNDR 215-500 NAS 110 LR-SFRI

D90: NASD90 NAS-D90 RED-RVR DFNDR

I've got DFENDR on it's way here in Texas. I tried for TRIGGR but that was rejected as 'offensive'. Why, I don't know.

I always thought "SLED" would be great - Sort of the idea of a sled being dragged around by a pack of dogs or team of horses. (that 180 or so horses under the hood). I already have personalized plates on my D90 but it relates to my mountainbike issues. RGMC - I use to be a contributing editor for the dirt rag mountain bike magazine - there, I started a series of retro grouch related articles - by popular demand I started a world wide mountian bike club - The Retro Grouch Moto Club (RGMC). (http://www.rgmc.org). If I ever get a second rover I will either get SLED or MULE - cause my machine(D-90) hauls all my photography or mountain bike crap around for me!

I have "L ROVER" on one - "SOLAROS" on another - I've seen five LROVER plates over the years - Georgia (mine), Virginia, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Not quite the same thing, but my 90 use to carry the tag "JEEPETR".. Judging by the reaction I typically got, I didn't think there was a tag that would get a worse reaction with J**P people, but if you manage to make that one work, I think it will take the cake. I was hoping fellow wheelers would take it as the good natured ribbing it was intended for, but it seemed to elicit too much negative emotion, so its gone, but the screen name lives on..

NOTAJP: I had this in AZ after being asked at so many gas stations what kind of **** it was. (btw, I purchased it from a friend in KC)

BRITGP is accurate but most wouldn't get it. GP is General Purpose, one story is this is where the name J**p came from pronouncing GP as jeep. I really didn't want to call my D90 a j**P, accurate or not!

People riding around in thre 4 rear jump seats in my wagon always mention they feel like they're in the military so I think "War Wgn" would be appropriate for us hardtop owners.

I've got 'DFENDR' on it's way. I ordered it a few weeks ago. Hopefully I'll have it before the SCARR rally in two weeks.
