Feh. Those are too hard to open while driving.

Brilliant! I'm inspired.....as this would be perfect for transporting my Pappy's stash. The only thing I see....is room for a third bottle in the middle. Hide the wine opener in one of the corners. = maximum booze storage.

Yes, flip the middle bottle upside-down and you'll be maximizing your Arthur-ness.

Tried that, three won't fit in a 1450 with an acceptable amount of foam between them. I'm trying to get some stainless stemless wine glasses to fit, but the ones I have are too wide. Need to find some narrow ones.

Not sure, I don't have one to try it in, but I'd speculate enough that it would be VERY heavy

Since you have the cutter maybe we could try to make me a martini rig? I still have the stainless martini glasses from my boat and had been thinking of trying something like this. Maybe just the shaker and glasses since the bottle would be kept in the fridge...

Sure, easy enough I'd think, and it'd be fun to try.

What types of glasses are going in there? Stemless?

Yah, I tried to fit these in but they were slightly too big to allow for adequate cushioning (I happened to have them in my camping box):

I have an old wooden mortar round ammo case that I modified to carry 4 bottles of wine. has that classic look too with rope handles. I'll post up pics later. I also have a soft mini-bar travel case that works pretty well for 2 bottles and a set of glasses. need to be prepared!

If any of you are on FB, expo posted a NATO jerry can case that was modified into a mini-bar that was inspiring, but at $600, DIY is the way to go.

Do you have a pic you can post of that?
