It's from Santana's Suzuki era. Have to hand it to the company for managing to keep production lines going over the decades

According to the article, in 2010, you could buy a new pickup version for close to $20,000.00

Looking at the current exchange rates, of 1 Iranian Rial = 0.000037, wonder how much one of these would cost today?

No, but there are those that travel to far off places on a regular basis and the Pazhan is exported to both Africa and Asia.

There's a huge Land Rover following in Iran. Few photos I took outside the factory HQ in Tehran. They sell for anywhere between $25,000 to $35,000, with a 6-8 month waiting list due to production lags and a high customer demand. At one point they halted production for almost a year due to massive currency fluctuations in the country. The cost of spare parts alone doubled in just one year. I meet a lot of friendly enthusiasts trying to keep the brand alive in a tough situation.
