Paul's imports in St. Pete

I've been looking at a few vehicles on eBay through Paul in St. Pete. Seems to get a lot of defenders and g wagons in. Anyone have experience with him? Is he solid or have you had problems? Hopefully this is an ok question for this forum, if not, I can ask elsewhere.

Does Paul have a last name or is Paul's Imports the name of the company?

Paul (don't know last name) has a dealership and gets defenders, g wagons, etc via Spain. Every few weeks. He does not have a website. I thought some people here may know of him or have heard good or bad things about his vehicles and prices. eBay name is importspecialist

When dealing in 25-30 year old vehicles one can draw no parallel's. Ea vehicle has to be inspected and evaluated based on its own merits.

Hmm....never buy of eBay without doing a full inspect of the vehicle and it's provenance, IN PERSON. CBP have proven themselves well capable of taking vehicles with potential issues.

Interesting eBay listings no Defenders in site (!). Maybe he's keeping them underground...

I'm looking for a defender 110 1983-89, already in the states, LHD preferred, daily driver shape (reliable enough), not all rusted out for 13-16k. An 80s G wagon that doesn't have all the bells and whistles (bare bones) imported already would also be attractive, but is prefer a 110.

you are in the ball park for rhd. LHD tends to sell for a 5k premium or more over rhd.
