Parting out a 97 SW

I've got a 97SW with 89K miles, drives great and is very reliable. BUT, i've wheeled it and i've got all the trail-ready goodies i'll never get an honest price for. what would you think a parted out 97SW would bring over time?

Perhaps you should share what you think you would get as-is (or would want to get as-is)? I somehow think parting it out won't be worth the effort in the long run.

Now parting out the trail goodies and selling it as stock is probably a better plan IMHO.

Are you planning on selling our truck? If so, sell off all the aftermarket parts and return the truck to stock as much as you can.

Figure out what a stock truck like yours will sell for, then make a list of your sell-able aftermarket parts and figure on about 40-60% of retail, depending on condition.

Horsey, you will have to replace your entire truck if you get any new parts. I think that Rhinolining ensures that all the original parts will be with you forever.

Plus, the parts I need don't apply to anything but a 97 truck.

Brian

If there is a tire available let Horsey have first dibs. It is a safety issue. Wait a second, Horsey, why not rhinoline the bald tire? It can be like a retread that truck drivers do to their rigs.

I would take it back to stock then sell it. With only 89k u should do good for a 97.
How beat is it?

Please do not part out a perfectly good NAS 90. I'm sure a loving home could be found for it whole, or back to stock at least.

Is something wrong that is beyond repair?

I want that Rockware Front bumper (which winch is it set up for?)!

And those oil coller lines.

Condition of KM2s?

------ Follow up post added April 28th, 2010 11:18 AM ------

Send me prices for those and the bumperettes, and rear hitch...and gas tank skid plate.
