part cleaner fluid recommendations

I went to renew my parts cleaner and stopped at my local auto supply and they want $70 for a 5 gal drum of parts washer--over $100 at o'reily and those laces. Used to be I could find some for $40. What are you folks using? (and any supply in Denver/Boulder area?). I have a full parts washer/50 gallon drum style and like to put 5-10 gallons in it.

I think some people use kerosene/diesel mix maybe?

Love suggestions to keep my costs down...

I would not want to have diesel splashing around while clean parts. Once thats on your skin the smell doesn't go away for days!

How about mineral spirits? I see that Klean Strip even makes an odorless variety. Looks like 5 gallons would be in the $50/range
