Thx Todd for the clarification.

It is though something I could easily imagine being said by him.

Just saw the attack in Nice, France.

News is saying its a terrorist; maybe ISIS.
80 people killed with a truck??

What is the death toll requirement for putting the French flag on your facebook profile?

It just so grotesque and maddening. I'll bet mostly tourists as well. Your heart goes out to all the people senselessly slain in just the newest of many horrific incidents to come. That is, until we have serious people back in serious positions. I long for the days of having grown ups in charge.

We need to outlaw trucks. I bet this was done in a truck free zone!

I actually think they had mentioned stricter truck regulations already! No joke! And yet, what a joke. So ridiculous.

I,m not surprised. The only way to stop terrorism is to kill the terrorist.

No death toll requirement, guns just need to be the weapon of choice

Why does anyone need these "high capacity" trucks. These trucks should not be in private hands they should only be in the hands of the government so our children will be safe.

And for those of you who will inevitably blame this random act on "The Religion of Peace" this guy was obviously a "Walter Mitty terrorist who happened to be a Muslim looking to justify his actions by invoking ISIS."

Absolutely heartbreaking... I almost lost one of my best friends at the Bataclan. Heart goes out to the people of France. As a parent of three young kids seeing this image this morning made me sick.. Consider the people who's lives have been destroyed before filling this thread with snarky political commentary.

It seems as though a Texas father and his young son are among the dead. Godspeed.

Seems to me that this type of act is yet a whole new level of insanity. To me driving slowly as you mow over people is different than setting off a bomb and going out quickly. No?

My heart goes out to all victims of terrorism. I just wonder when we will get the resolve to go after the people that cause this.

Is it a lack of resolve? I think it's more complicated than that. If by resolve we mean coordinated thoughts and effort as a united nation I would agree, we need more resolve.

One way to start is by rapidly increasing the birth rate of the west and those who are friendly to the west.

Increase immunological response to infectious agents, create an environment hostile to pathogens, etc.

Generally speaking, talk of closing borders / changing immigration policies is barrier method prophylaxis.

At a basic level, this is biological warfare.
