painting over powder coat

Anyone have any experience with this? I have some body panels given to me by a friend but they have been powder coated and I wasn't sure how this would affect a color change. Is there any special prep that needs to happen or just rub them down and paint as usual?

You can prep it like it is another paint layer. Just scuff it up, and paint over it.
