Well I've managed to squeeze something into every square inch of the Flat-rate box...

I think that Maximal and I were able to provide them with a good assortment of items.

Coffee, caffeine pills, tuna, chap stick, ibuprofen, chef boyardee, gatorade, sunflower seeds, and a few more items. I enjoyed taking part in this and thank you for giving me the opportunity to participate.

I stuffed every square inch of spare box space with candy. I couldn't fit a toothpick in the box before I taped it shut.

We went shopping for the supplies yesterday and stopped by the office for the boxes… wish I could fill them all. The fund raiser accomplished: Oysters, salmon, muscles, sardines, herring, pepperoni, vienna sausages, beenie weenies, beef jerky, cookies, pasta, peanut butter, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, beer nuts, mixed nuts, banana chips, different types of candy, chocolate covered pretzels, three different types of hot sauce, green olives, jalapenos, crackers, corn nuts, drink powders, mini-toothbrushes, baby wipes, mouthwash, cigs and dip, sunscreen and a couple of inflatable mini-footballs. I packed three of the boxes to be nearly identical in content, just in case one gets lost or held up in transport. My little one was full of questions about the platoon and really glad to help out as well. Here are a few pictures from around the time of the MRE encounter. Thank you for doing this Rick and allowing for this small token of our appreciation

PMs sent. Sorry for the delay. Was out of town for a couple of days.
Just got an email from Rob. They where out on a 2 day patrol, and returned to the first wave of boxes. Of course they didnt get them till after "dinner" of 4 meat balls and some thing that resembled mashed potatoes. I replied that there is more on the way. I am going to fwd the pics.
Thanks again guys!

Ran this by my baking teacher when you first posted this and she was psyched, and so were her students. I kind of forgot about it, and then they showed up at office door this afternoon with 60lbs of cookies.
As I was packing them I got a bit hungry and ate a few, one of the baking students caught me, (total skater type, which made it even funnier) and he proceeded to give me a bunch of shit, pretty much trying to make me feel un-American for stealing cookies from the troops, it was very funny.
Tell him to look out for three big boxes of cookies, and if he could get you a pic of his boys to post here the kids would really love it.
Thanks to him and all you guys on here who have served!
