Owners of Multiple Rovers?

Is this something that has happened to a lot of you? Being new to Rovers, I leased a LR4 for my wife to drive. About a year later I started looking for a 110. I'm in the process of getting it titled, and I found another one that I might pick up as a driver while the first one gets built.

Is it a sickness? Do I need professional help? Support group?

You just found the support group. Welcome.

I did something similar... LR3 led to the Series which let to the D90. I still have all 3.

2 discos at the moment, looking for a 3rd or a RRC. There is the possibility of a Defender in my somewhat near future, working out the logistics on that currently.

The most Rovers I have ever owned at one time was three--I realized it was an addiction and new I had to beat it. I am happy to say I am down to one. Have been thinking of getting another while I put a galvy frame on my 90ójust talking out loud....

No!

Help!!!

most of us have a number of them - at any one given time - you need to if you want to drive one all the time!

99 D1 (which I still own) did it for me. Followed by a 94 NAS D90 for 4 years (I sold it here in '06). Then I went for an '06 Full Size RR Supercharged (still own, currently wife's DD), a ROW 110 (sold to a forum member), and now my "Sunday driver" - a pretty solid 94 RRC LWB.

My name is Glenn and I'm a Rover-holic!

I came about this the other way from some; old to new. I started w/ a Series 3 which led to a 90 then a Range Rover as family vehicle. Looking back, the Series was just a step in what seems to be a long term British Leyland spiral of addiction...

For years I've been saying I'd never own a british vehicle. The last 1.5 years, I could still say I didn't "own" one, just leased it. Soon, there may be 3 in my garage.

My wife about peed herself when I told her I put an offer in on another one.

When you're in the looney bin with other loons, then everything is normal. Enjoy the ride.

If you only have one Rover, you're doing it wrong. Get your wife a Land Rover that she loves, then she can't say she hates Rovers!

She really likes her LR4. I can honestly say, I've been extremely impressed with it. *knocks on wood* It's been dead reliable too. Plus, it's one of the few vehicles out there that has a 3rd row with enough room for our kids without being a full-sized SUV. Fuel efficiency is my only gripe.
