All of that crap on your roof for a shower? Are you serious?

This is what you want:

http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...231-Got-Shower

Pics are broken but here's how it goes together: you build (or buy) a heat exchanger to take heat off your engine coolant. You use an aquarium (or similar) pump to pull the water from a feed tube that goes into your water jerry can and run it through the heat exchanger to the shower head. You have an inline pressure switch between the pump and shower head (which is connected w/ a quick-disconnect fitting) to detect when the shower head is on and start the pump automatically. To get the water warmed up, you simply spray the shower head back into the water can to recirculate it until it's nice and hot.

I still see the comment there.

Once we move. I'll resume the hunt.

Right now work is very busy and dealing with a move is too much.

Pedro I've heard some people create a stand-up tent area, turn on their car, and attach a hose from the exhaust into the tent. It's supposed to be a nice soothing warm spa experience, but it makes you sleepy. You'd be the only one at the campsite with your own spa though! When the tent is all nice and warm, you can also take your shower system in there and lather rinse repeat the night away.

That's my tent heater setup.

Who knew it worked for the shower.

That's the setup I have.

That's the side effect and you can only use it once.
