Oven inside the Howlingmoon

Well, sometimes it's getting cold in Germany.

Time to think about a wood feeded oven inside the tent.

Founded this one on ebay.
It's a Swedish military oven. All chimney parts are to be stored inside.

Doesn't want to go straight up with the chimney, to provide a water dip to the roof of the tent. Just cut a hole inside the tent's wall.

To provide the tent of too much heat a second tube is necessary.

And its own support for the chimney too.

Some paint and additional parts added. It works very well.

Do you like it?

While that's really nice to have a wood oven in your tent.. For the sake of heating that I probably would be more inclined to use a webasto diesel fire airtop 2-3000... Must admit.. Something nice about a wood oven and stove too though...

It depends on the surface.
Starts at 1 hour for the whole set up on a soft meadow, and ends on a concret platform by drilling each hole for the nails. This will take a full day.
