I have gotta say the the D3 handles snow and ice wonderfully, and the down hill descent control is the dogs bollox

I'm guessing he was in NY, as he lists Va and NY in his location. Weather channel shows it is still only -2 there now (10:45 am)..

A friend of mine runs a land rover / range rover specialty repair shop. Based on his experience, they are capable of stopping anywhere, anytime, at any cost.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.
