I was driving out of there last night, I didn't think it could get colder then the 14 degrees my vw was showing.

fun fact, vw tdi's get about 20% less fuel economy in freezing temperatures... I only got 37mpg on my drive back to MD last night

Hi chaps 48F here in lovely south wales, though if it gets any wetter I'll need to grow gills.

You know when its really wet when its easy to keep the rain puddle on the edge of the bonnet at 60mph on the drive into work.

anyone got some snow to share? my neighbors seem to get all friendly and chatty following a bad weather forecast.

regards all
Gren

-4F this morning. Took 7 turns to get the truck fired up. Looks like it's time to add a fuel filter heating element.

Not gonna make your starting easier.. Gotta run a portion of gasoline to your diesel to stop the gelling... Or a webasto heater.. All your glow plugs working.???

Today was the first day it got below the 80's. It has been miserable hot lately, I'm sick of it. Back into the 80's by Monday - ugh.

As Scott T called it...yes, I was in NY. Way too damn cold...the LR3 literally almost didn't fire up, and was sluggish turning over like a wet sponge. It actually wiped the clock and memory out as well from the draw - may be time for a new battery, but regardless I shared the LR3's sentiments that the weather was absurd. I touched the metal roof rack rail by accident when loading and got instant frost bite!

What a d bag. You are that guy in tevas on a plane. Cover your damn feet. Now thinking about you taking those hippie shoes off and standing with your bare feet in the airport. You clearly now have foot aids!

At least I kept them on during the flight, unlike the hippie in Birkenstocks next to me.
