Talking Opinion of Value???

Hi, i have a 1994 D-90 that I'm wanting to sell shortly but before i list it, i'd like your thoughts on if i should do anything else to it in order to get it ready for sale as well as getting an opinion of value for it's current condition so i know if it's worth putting any more money into it:

Mileage: 142,000
Color: Green
Tires: Newer with lots of tred
New Parts: shocks, rear area rubber, radio, speakers, front grill, front light bezels, replaced the rusty door bolts, surrey top, wipers, floor mats, front lenses (FYI pics don't reflect new grill and bezels)
Service: engine tune up, transmission serviced

Things that could be better: the "carpet" under the floor mats should be replaced, the seats have slight rips on the seat portion, the paint on the rear door isn't great, rear bumper is faded, rear lenses are faded

In the picture i'm attaching, i removed the old top and replaced it with both a new surrey top (for the summer) and a used badger top (for the winter). I removed the cage and brush guard but still have them.

What are your thoughts???

I moved this to Misc Chit Chat. What did you pay for it, and how much have you added to it so far?

This question seems to come up a lot. What color it is and how much tread is on the tires is not likely to move the value needle much. Location does and how bad you want to sell it is another component. There are a ton of these for sale at any given time but where they are I think can make or break a sale.

One man's opinion: $25k (plus or minus $1500 depending on the condition of everything you can't see, or tell from the internet)

I sold my 95 in similar condition same color for about $24 years ago - my guess would be in that same range + or - mine had less miles and was rust free as it came from AZ not sure whats going on with the rear ladder looks to only be supported by the body attachments? I would put the rack back on before selling

A/C? I think mid $20s would sell quickly.

Maybe the picture is distorted, but is that a genuine LR basket? It looks taller and doesn't curve back inward at the top.
Just curious.

These guys are lowballing you. Depends on condition more than mileage though it does come into play. Post pics of the footwells bottom of doors, frame. That will give a better idea.

Don't listen to anyone saying it's their dream truck and be tempted to cut them a deal ... They are likely just trying to get it cheap and flip it for nearer true value.

even if it real is their dream truck they should be willing to deal at market rates.

FYI: I have no interest in buying it. Mid 20s it will sell quickly. Maybe you could get 30k if you wait, but October is not the time to sell a soft top defender.

Ask 35k and sit. If you are in no hurry, sit tight , somebody else's money will be.
