I know of 4 here in Raleigh, 5 including mine but its always broke down so I never can drive it. of the four 3 are always parked, maybe they are broke down also. I used to always see a Defender in Boon or Asheville.

Crap. Nope. Just got the house over the weekend.

--------Follow-up----------

Just checked the rates - yikes! OK looks like I'm only taking my bike on the island, and will rent one of Ken / BOBCAT110's LR's.

Yep, there are a bunch of 90s in Alex and Arlington.

We could always carfax them and see where they're last registered.

It would be cool to do a poll by state and then narrow it down from there to city, then burough or whatever. How many options are you allowed when setting up a poll on here?

Edit: Nevermind, answer is only 10 options per poll.

There are 2 in Windermere. A very small town just outside Orlando. I think South Florida (Miami area would have a few). Nothing like you guys up north though. I'm almost jealous until I realize it was clear and 70 degrees today.

Chicago northwest suburbs. In the 9-10 months I've had my Defender radar on, I've probably seen like five D90's out and about. There were about 5-7 at the Brit car show nearby last summer. Chicagoland is not a Defender hotbed.

Discos? I see tons every day.

I can go months without even seeing a Defender. Mine included

Can someone tell me which city has the highest concentration of jews and blacks. I think it will correlate to defender ownership.

In my neighborhood of Coconut Grove in Miami, there are 5 circulating at all times including mine. One of those being a Series truck that lives a few blocks over from my joint.

As for the J&B's...Miami's got plenty of both.

Owings Mills MD

Rockville MD

Trenton NJ

Lakewood NJ

Take your pick

Now if you include Falashas, Addis Ababa is without a doubt the #1 spot

Bored on the web and found this:

http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/Defen...0_colours.html

From the above link, original sales location of NAS D90s by state

Makes sense that NY/NJ and California are well represented here, those 2.5 states got more than 2000 D90s

Ack

Horsey, who gave you permission to come to my island?

Let me know when you will be here, and make sure your bike is of the mountain variety. I do a good off-road bike and/or Defender Tour.

Ken/Horsey...
Let me know if you want to make it a full RoverFest on 'Ken's Island'!
As one of the few daily drivers out here, I'd be glad to join in, on-bike and off...

and while it's true that there are a huge number of Defenders out here that were purchased for top dollar and then subsequently driven on the beach once in August and left to rot with the salt sand on the frame, there are a couple of well-loved ones too...

Hey, Mike......sounds good. By the way, I really could have used some help on Stroll Weekend.... had way too many women over the house to deal with. It was a full-on hen house.

Saw your 90 at the S&S on New Years Eve....time to put the hard top on!
