Yup this is why he's getting insurance. I think Russell is right. Just call them up and say you bought a new car and add it to your insurance. All you should need is the vin #. The rest is really unimportant.

Exactly. Less detail the better Kent! insurance companies only care about what they know

Of course. It is sitting in my garage waiting for a truck to go in to. I am still waiting on his answer for the winch bumper but that will be more difficult to ship.

I think Kent is shooting the moon trying to get agreed value insurance before it ships. Insurers usually want to inspect or have an appraisal done for agreed value- that said I guess it depends on how much you want them to agree its worth.

Thanks. Let's wait and see if any of the Orlando vendors can donate any parts and perhaps be kind enough to let you piggyback on the shipment. We need to make a list but some of the other items we need are fairly large too (like 2 piece front doors)

Also maybe some rurr opportunities will pop up.

The good news is that these are not critical or time sensitive issues for the truck.

Thanks again
p.s. Small update - Greg has finished packing up the truck and the shipper/broker has been let loose. Waiting for someone to take the job.

I'm watching this with interest. I have had a great deal of difficulty getting transporters to handle running 110's coast to coast for that price point, I have one here that needs to go to to Beverly Hills in the next week or two. Barry's "Prius" sat @ my house for three weeks waiting for a trucker to take the job @ $1200 a couple years ago, but Barry set that up not me.

Let's see. The shipper seemed to think it was a common route and wouldn't be an issue.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Kent. Have you tried Hagerty? I've used them on both my 88" and 109".

The 109" was a non-runner and they knew it. Doesn't hurt to ask them. I was very happy with their pricing and customer service.

Also, I have a set of Late model Series window locks I can "donate" to the cause.

The shipper called today to say the truck will be picked up tomorrow and should arrive next monday or tuesday!

Thanks Rick. I'll try contact the Orlando vendors tonight or tomorrow with a list of things we know we need before giving it a look. Things I can think of off the top of my head in case you are looking to donate, are

- 2 piece front doors
- tailgate
- possibly an lt230 or housing.

charles
p.s. Don't you owe me some pictures?

Just sent you a pm for the Tuffy console. Kent do you want the winch bumper too? This is the perfect opportunity if you need a bumper. Let me know!
