Sorry I'm not so timely in responding, Charles. Just got back from TX with Bill Adam's new ride. I serviced both T-case and trans. I dumped both diffs. after teardown. They both need lube since cleanup/paint.

Sounds like you guys made good progress while I was out. I hope to be over Sat.

No problem Ron. I forgot about the trip - no drama then?

Does anyone have any rover brake fittings? We need one female and one male fitting to get the brakes buttoned up.

Time lapse of Wednesday night's work:

They are the same as a disco, so if some one has a parts disco near you just rob them from there

I'm hoping Adams can pull one off one of his parts RRCs. Bill, you going to be coming this weekend?

Otherwise Kent, maybe you can make a trip to a junk yard tomorrow morning?

I'm still gonna go frolic around in a junkyard this morning, just for fun. You can't stop me.

I need some Disco II marker light wiring ends! NOT the actual marker itself (I have those), but the actual male wiring harness/end that is on the truck. If you pop out the marker light, you should be able to pull enough of the harness out to cut a good length.

A couple of representative pics below, but again NOT the marker light itself but the wiring harness end that it plugs in to. Need both side/2 total.

Same part used on the late td5 defenders. I have a template for the hole to cut in our fender if thats what you are up to. Ping Randy Williams and he can bring you the pig tails since he's camping with us next weekend.
I can scan the template to you if you need it.

Bingo!!! YES on the template, that would be awesome. Will the scan of the template retain it's dimensions/ratio for cutting out? If not I'm sure I can adjust it accordingly.

I'll drop Randy a line...I forgot he was coming down!

Went to a local salvage yard because one of the guys who worked there told me over the phone "sure, we have a Land Rover back there somewhere...."

Turned out to be a P38 that was completely picked clean. However, they did have a very nice 94 Jag XJ6..... so voila! I have some nice Jag brake fittings! They might work, but if not, I still had fun.

Sorry guys, no Land Rover luck.

Hit up Widewater Pick and Pull down below Quantico. You can check their inventory via the PDF which is an approximation for what you might find there. I prefer that one to their Fredericksburg location, have had very good luck there and it's always fun to just wander the rows to see what's what. Don't take Tony Brooks though, he'll never leave the parking lot for love of the Senioritas running the food truck...

Should. To be candid I had to open things up a bit beyond the template. What tool are you using to make the hole ? I used two different die grinders

Anybody in NOVA have a ROW header bar I can borrow until I can take the truck down to Brewie to have the actual top fitted? I found my bimini/bikini top in the attic, and Galpin already has a hoop I can borrow. Already have the gutter kit too(thanks Pedro!) Just need the header bar. TIA.

I've had one FS for a few months. You could just buy it...
