Here we are, I have a long night to get it ready for powder first thing in the morning. For the most part we are excited on how it turned out. The internal dash assembly turned out a lot better then I expected. Kent was heavily involved with every aspect of the build! I'm really happy he decided to come down for the weekend, the end result is gonna be pretty mean!! Hopefully will have a finished installed product tomorrow, so cross your fingers!

We made a couple plates that tie into the windshield hinge, we also added an additional three holes and a backing plate as well. We didn't use a single one of my precut brackets, so it took a lot longer then I expected. We sleeved it a few inches above the crash pad with 1.5" 1/4" DOM, it's not the prettiest of execution but once it's done and assembled it will look nice. FYI those bolts are just for mock up.

Very cool gents-- well done! Is it tied into the frame anywhere? I imagine you are tying the upper rear cage to a lower part under the capping that goes into the frame maybe? At least consider a rear bulkhead bar like the NAS came with behind the seats. It probably just isn't shown-- I certainly wouldn't rely on the side capping and aluminum body to transmit any load (says the guy currently without any cage!)

post #239 shows them, they did a double one @ floor level and one a bit higher @ fender well level.

Thanks---I can see them now. I have always wanted to do a modified/strenthened A-pillar bulkhead such as ECR did many years ago and run an internal cage as I prefer internal. I just have not had the finances to ever get it done yet so this is still great info for when I do mine. This truck is looking awesome and the pitching in from everyoe makes this board even more special.

Awesome job guys. And way to step up Brian! Damn, at 4 days and counting your contribution is way above and beyond. I just got a text from Kent and he is super happy with the cage. Thanks man!

I hope the lack of top hasn't been an issue in planning for the gutter kit. I don't think the series ones are exactly the same, but if I'd know I could have sent those down with Kent for test fitting.
