Only in LA?

Driving my 1961 109 I just passed a black D90 parked on the side of the road only to get to the intersection and find a pair of them, red and white waiting at the light. Does this happen anywhere else in the world?

I would guess it happens all the time in the UK, and in different parts of Africa and the Middle East.

Happens all the time on Nantucket. You would think the factory was just down the road.

That's for sure. I got really excited for the first few. After that I just couldn't keep up!

There used to be this old series vehicle, I think it was a series II in venice parked off some side street near a park close to Ocean. I wonder whatever happened to it. I always get weird looks chasing people in D90's with my lr3. D90's are more common on certain streets, like lincoln, sunset etc. Oh btw, according to MSN, John Mayer got pulled over last week on sunset for not having any plates. I can't believe he could be that careless.

If it was red and next to the dog park on Westminster it got sold a few years ago. I havent seen it since. I was coming down Abbott Kinney when i ran into the D90 convoy.

One time I drove to the Lower East side to see Jorge's new Rock Ware bumper and when i pulled up there was a blue SW Defender parking inback of him. So i pulled over to check out the bumper and the other Defender. I thought it was funny to see 3 in a row so i took a photos.

yes... its another horrible camera phone photo!

There's quite a few in Charlotte considering the city size. I saw three in a matter of minutes two days ago.

I offered to race a guy on Park Rd. the other night in a D90 sitting after I pulled up next to him at a stoplight.

Talking

I've seen few in Cincy, but seldom while driving my D90. I just waive to Jeeps and pretend that they are Defenders...lol

yup, mine is green, Jorge's is the white and we have no idea who the blue one belonged to. I don't think he is on the message board.

Happens on the Front range here in CO quite a bit.
The most amazing perhaps was two Non NAS 110's a NAS 90 a Series 3 88" and a Disco2 (does that count?) all at the Discount tire shop here for one reason or another.(something to do with tires I suppose. The guy with the S3 live a couple blocks from me, he was having his tire rotated and Graham and I had the 110s and where playing musical tires (10 rims 15 tires), and there was an Arles Blue ST There to get new tires. I'm guessing the owner of the D2 was having the air in the tires changed to get ride of a check engine light or something.
