One of the reasons I own guns...

He invited himself over a little too close to our home this evening....

Just south of Athens, Ga. He was 10' from our house.... I heard him, and then he met Mr. Mossberg Pump 12.

A little too close for comfort. I have 2 boys, 4yr old and 18 months old.

That's insane! We show them no mercy when they cross the boundary into our yard. It's the only time my wife grabs a gun faster than I do

We've got family in Athens, and will be there a few times between now and the end of the year. Would love to meet another fellow forum member.

You can always tell us country folks.. 'You gonna eat that?'...some dry rub and grilled over mesquite? Last time I found one of those I was fencing some pasture for the cows. He got whacked a couple-a-ten times on the head with a fence stay, another got a shovel and the copperhead by the porch...he got a 5 iron. Whatever is handy I suppose.

You're forgetting the cobra that was recently on the loose at North Lamar and Parmer.

Wow! That many rattle snakes reminds me of summer time and visiting my grandparents ranch in Lampasas.
