It's over 25 years old... I do not see why not, obviously when they go to inspect at the port they might have questions. Having a front axle on it and rollable might help it. I would keep all words like Saddam, Gulf War, MachineGun platform off the shipping papers.

Man, I want that so badly....what an awesome piece of Land Rover history. Aside from one of the forestry rigs with tractor tires this is pretty much the ultimate unique modification to me.

Should be importable but may require ATF approval, although based on all the bullet holes, it doesn't appear to be armored in any way. Will require a UK military surplus export license unless the seller has a surplus dealers license- process takes 28 days and is easy enough.

Man that's just so cool...thanks for sharing !

John you have 9 days to figure out how to hide it from your wife.... or bring her around to your way of thinking.

The fact that it was Saddam's and is bullet ridden makes it the ultimate historical piece .

Thats prototype #6 judging by the bullet holes. Take a look at this link and scroll down.

Prototype 6 was demonstrated in Iraq (circa 1980).
In February 2005, Prototype 6 was discovered at Taji, north of Baghdad, Iraq by the US Army.
It has since been rescued by the British Army's Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (R.E.M.E.), who hold it in their reserve museum collection at Bordon.

I actually have a crazy story about this.(And I assume it is this truck) I was driving the Series III from CT to Gaitlinburg TN for a family vacation this past summer. I pulled into a rest stop in Virginia and an older gentleman from Alabama approached me saying he was glad I stopped. He had a Series truck back in the day. He stated how he and another guy were stationed in Iraq and found this truck. He told the story of how they discovered it and took custody, shipped it back to the UK with the help as the ad says. Also told me where it was now and who actually holds ownership. We talked for over an hour. He wanted my email address, said he might want to contact me as I am in the UK and might be able to help him. Never heard from him but was a bit blown away when I saw the link. Price will be very interesting.

Looks like the ad is going to get pulled based on what the seller said. Seems to be the same truck I discussed but not the same guy.
