OMG! It's back!

Well, we've all seen it before and we've all been appalled by it, but it's back.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Land-Rover-D...US_Cars_Trucks

It reminds me of the time my mother brought home a book her employer was throwing out. He was a dermatologist and it was an illustrated book of skin diseases. You couldn't help but keep turning the pages even though you were grossed out every time you did. LOL

"I'm really not interested in selling it."

HAHA, but he's had it for sale for 5 years, and for a ridiculous amount of money each time. I still remember the first time when it came with a nordic track. Now THAT was a great deal.

It's missing something.. let me think. oh yes, it needs the dragging muffler to finish it off. Good call on only using 30' standoff pictures.

Land Rover Defender 2A | eBay

1966 Land Rover Defender 2A
Land Rover Defender 1966 2A

1966 2A Land Rover Defender with independent suspension (all for wheels) and a front wheel drive V6, Automatic transmission, Drilled slotted rotors, Ceramic pads, Carbon fiber gauges, Aluminum gas tank. The side windows are zip up with clear boat poly for durability. Too many things to list. Let me know if you have any questions. I ran out of picture space. Email me for images of the engine area. It hauls butt. Front wheel drive and stops on a nickle. It has remote control CD stereo with 4 speakers and a sub. Sounds great. The doner car I used was a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am GT (not supercharged). Has the Aluminum engine cradle bolted right onto the Land Rover original frame. I had the heads taken off and completely done by a machine shop. I will ship it in the US. I'm not sure but it costs about 700-800 to ship. Obviously that is an extra cost. Or you can come and load it on trailer or drive off in it. I require a $500 non refundable deposit via Pay Pal within 24 hours of end of auction. I also reserve the right to end/cancel all bids as I'm selling locally too.

On Mar-01-15 at 12:52:26 PST, seller added the following information:

The engine is beautiful wish you could see it. Those that have emailed me received the pictures of the engine. Like new. The only things I would do is have a custom aluminum hood, tailgate, and front/rear bumpers made all out of aluminum. They are currently the original galvanized steel. The fenders and bed are aluminum. This thing is very light. The front and rear bumpers are steel. I have over 30K in my baby. I bought all original and decided to take it all apart. The original engine was too slow for me and the original suspension was poor too. It is much better now and only needs a new owners personal tweaks. I would put nicer new bucket seats in too.

It's only a few hours from me I seriously considered taking the drive just for the thrill of seeing that shit box up close and in person.

Wait, so my plans of buying this off eBay and flipping it here on the DefenderSource for a profit was not a good plan?

Haha I couldn't remember if it was a Bowflex or a Nordic Track that it came with the first time it was for sale years and years ago.

Wait, how is this different to anything you have bought and sold?

That is true...it would still be the same "buy high, sell low" mantra .

I'm personally offended that he's referring to it as a "Defender" in the listing title. I would like to see a video of that thing being crushed. It hurts my eyes.

Back up again!

1966 Land Rover Defender upgraded

1966 Land Rover Defender upgraded - $35000 (Coto De Caza)

For sale Land Rover Defender really fast lots up upgrades. Independent suspension, disc brakes, v6 runs great, recently rebuilt engine, automatic transmission, large aluminum gas tank, tires in great shape. Looking for a reasonable cash offer. Clean title. NO accidents.

Selling everything to raise funds to buy rough diamonds in Brazil. Bank wont loan me a million so I'll do it my self! Just on a smaller scale.

That truck deserves to be crushed my CBP. The conversion itself is a crime.
