Oldest D-90 owner?

I met a nice octaganarian woman who owns a 97 conniston green soft top. She drives it on the beach in nantucket. Her husband hates the truck (he has a least a couple Europa G-wagons).

Beat that old folks!!!

Well when you use words like Octogenarian, you should at least spell it correctly so when 99% of us dumbasses who donít know what Octogenarian means / is and we have to Google it to figure what some aristocratic limey bastard is trying to tell us.

Yes, I had to Google it and it means of the age between 80 and 89.

Ha. So there smarty pants.

Well Dad turns 70 this year and may be one of only 3 defender owners in the Big Wonderful Wyoming.

I have a customer in MT thats 93 and has 14 series trucks. She gets them all running in the summer and then drives them in the winter until they die. She found that 14 is the perfect number to have enough to make it through the winter running. She is a very interesting customer and has only owned Land Rovers since she started driving when her husband passed.

"may be one of only 3 defender owners in the Big Wonderful Wyoming.'

Hummm, what about Jackson Hole? There are at least three defenders within a mile of me, and that is not counting the two at my house.

She does some work but she has given up on doing all of it. She has a nice shade tree mechanic that helps her out.

Wonder who helps her turn the steering wheel? I've heard of stories from Steve at BP about crusty old rovers owned by desert rat senior citizens, he made it sound like they were very cheap err..............frugal.

What color Defender does your dad have? I have regularly seen a red soft top and a green soft top with the fiberglass hardtop. I have also regularly seen a 110. I frequent the Jackson Hole area and just south of Jackson Hole around the Hoback Ranches. I have a yellow í94 D-90.
