Old Navy Commercial

Anyone else catch the Old Navy Next commercial? It featured what appeared to be a Bonatti Grey D-90 ST, with SW doors on it.. They listed a website at http://www.oldnavy.com/next/ and if you watch the Episode on there, you'll see it a lot in there after a few minutes..

I'll post some screen caps when it's not 3am in the morning..

That is one sweet looking Defender. Love the color! I was thinking it might be Randy's, but it looked like it had the stock rear bumper on it.

At first when you said 'a few minutes', I was thinking "I don't want to watch an Old Navy commercial for a few minutes"...for some reason, it went by quickly.

I wonder if we could buy her old ST doors off her since she clearly likes the SW doors on that ST!

Trust me, I gave up a couple of times on the online video, but finally watched through it and it was worth it!

I wonder what's up with that truck, I'll have to look more closely later but, is it a NAS? There is a shot of the back, but I dont remember seeing a badge... since it's bonnatti grey with SW doors but full rollcage, I wonder if its a newer model that someone fitted a SD cage to.. There's a clear pic of the license plate, someone run it and get in touch with the owner and find out!

From pausing at key times, you can tell:
- It has Tdi stickers
- The cage is not NAS (no foam) but resembles it
- Theres a big wierd back seat
- The sun visors are white
- And the plates look like NY

Other items that tell you more about the truck...

It does not have NAS taillights
It does have a SW style review mirror
Welds show the roll cage is not as modular as the NAS Cage

All I do all day is browse the Old Navy website, especially at 3am!

Nah, actually I was watching Family Guy recorded on DVR trying to fall asleep to it, and even though I was fast forwarding through commercials 4x, I caught the vents of the d90 and knew exactly what it was, stopped it, watched it, then jumped out of bed to post it. Hey... you asked

From pausing at key times, you can tell:
- She is a young 20 something ready to take on life
- Knows that self-shot mirror photos are all the rage on myspace
- Knows style even trying on different outfit combinations
- She knows she is only using her friend for her ridiculously cool Jeep
- She needs a man in Queens to rail her.

I saw it during the replay of last week's lost which had the 110 scenes and reacted like my son used to when we would come across a bulldozer or other piece of heavy equipment. My wife just shook her head and smiled.

O.K., it took a few attempts to get through the commercial, and I have to say without a doubt, that WAS NOT WORTH IT! FN painful stupid ass song, crappy clothes and a stupid ass song. Man, you guys must be hard on 90 porn to think that was worth it! It is going to take most the day to feel normal again...

Anyone with a soft top who was considering selling their truck should clean it up, put a for sale sign in the window and park it infront of an OLD NAVY store located in an upscale mall. There is bound to be at least one upscale fashioniesta chick who will have to have one to go with her new Urban Explorer outfits before her friends get one - you will be cashing in on an advertising campain that is worth millions and all it will cost you is $ 1.50 for a sign. Uhmm... may I should pull my SW top off and put my soft top configuration back on my truck!

This commercial has also provided a perfect segway for any of the the young guys on the board with a soft top who are looking for a new fishing hole to troll for chicks... again just park yourself (with your truck) in front of an OLD NAVY store with a two day growth of beard and properly moused hair.

The real question is whos truck is it. If the commercial was shot in NYC it has to belong to someone.

I just saw 2 of these adds on TV- one showed the D90 for a second or two, the other was a good 30 seconds. Eh, the D90 puts it a cut above most adds on TV.

Let me tell ya, i'm 22, and had the D90 from the age of 19-21, and you REALLY don't need much help pullin chicks when you roll downtown or through a mall in one of these. forget Old Navy hype and mouse, this truck did all the work for me anyways.
