Okay, where are all the National Rally Photos?

Some of us have to live vicariously through others..

LOL. Series VS. D90...Power steering, comfy seats, coil sprung plushy ride and you are well rested and ready to party. Whilst the Series driver is just flat out from the pummeling he's recieved...

Nice picts from everyone that has posted links.

Kevin, that shot of the whole group on top of that land bridge, or arch - I'm sure it has a name is great.
There looks to be a slight pucker factor when crossing that area, although its probably very safe.

Thanks for sharing!

Maybe, Maybe Not..

"Wall Arch fell sometime early last week, though no one has reported seeing it collapse, said Paul Henderson, the park's chief of interpretation.

He said the arch, located along the popular Devils Garden Trail, was claimed by forces that will eventually destroy other arches in the park: gravity and erosion. "

Thanks for the links guys, keep them coming

Great shots, Kevin. I assume Jamil is posting shots to the VTXS site like usual? If so, I certainly look forward to those

That was Gemini Bridges, rumored to be on a list of places to be closed to vehicles soon so we were sure to go there and take the postcard pic.

Jamil took tons of photos and will post an impressive album once he goes through and edits them. We will also have some video at some point.

I vaguely remember seeing a newscast recently of someone who captured video of one of the arches falling

Wow, great shots Kevin.

Just curious, for the most part did the east coast group end up driving their trucks to Moab or did something work out with a shipper?

The NJ crew drove out mostly. I went with 3 rigs on a 5th wheel wedge behind a 1 ton diesel dualie. A couple of folks like Quentin and Scott Preston drove out in series rigs or 90s including Scott Masi from Maine who drove the whole way with a surrey top and no door tops through 2 days of rain.

Those images were too painful to watch. I need to get out there soon. I miss Moab.

It really is a "must do" if you are a wheeler. The traction out there seems to defy physics, I cleaned obstacles I would never try back east. On top of that, everywhere you look is a great picture and it really is a "dry heat".

works for me. I dunno. It's just a photo of kevin's truck going up a ledge with both front wheels off the ground.

That same picture showed up as http://lh5.ggpht.com/VTXSVP/SNpZQzjD...2/_W5W6663.jpg for me. So I'm guessing Google caches the pictures on a per-user-session basis.
Link to picture that should work for everybody: http://picasaweb.google.com/VTXSVP/M...06460903757922
