See my post "110 delivered" It's here completely legally. I considered turning my 90 into a 110 but ruled it out predominantly for the time involved in doing so.

Be happy to chat if you'd like.

You can't be searching very well, sorry to be blunt. Yes several 1983's have been imported and there are several folks on this board that can do it for you for a fee. I believe it would be cheaper to import a 83 110 than to try convert a 90 to a 110, but thats just my opinion.

Tyler is currently converting his 90 to a 110.

IMO, the only reasons you'd want to convert one would be for the fun of it and if you are madly in-love with your current 90.

thanks for the responses

my interest in potential conversion is that there are several D90s with 300 tdis for sale and I am comparing cost

just trying to get some information as I live in an area that has great Rover support but wanted some info on others experiences

might be prudent to maybe put a sticky on the website with answers to the most common questions as the search engine here is picky compared to others

I almost bought MtnR. rig but I want to make certain everything is legal

Todd, love to hear about your experience I'll send you a pm and many thanks!

thanks Muller,

I did read that entire thread but there really didn't seem to be much in the way of actual info that I found, just lots of specualtion and some Gov. info that I was still uncertain of its interpretation

Pay Mark Letourney @ Rovers North to import one for you and leave the details to him.
