Officially moving to NYC

My girlfriend and I have made the final decision to move today. She was offered a job and I don't think I'll have trouble finding one. I've lived in Richmond, Va my whole life, so I'm looking forward to a change! Hopefully the Boost club will accept me...

I'll keep this thread updated as the progresses. Its looking like we'll be moving in late August or early September. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to move my tool box...

Awesome. Congratulations. Boost club is an equal opportunity society. We welcome those from all walks of life ... I mean honestly we tolerate Ronnie and he's never owned a set of boosts ....

She actually just moved back from NYC probably 5 years ago! Now I can repay her for all of the times I crashed at her place up there.

I know of someone who can take over for me if your truck needs any work after I'm gone. I'm definitely down for a HH whenever everyone else is

Have a good time-maybe you should switch to Castors so you'll stand out-

Freestyle or Wolf.

Castors are terrible

Let any of us NY folks know if you need anything. I'm north of the city now, but in town just about everyday.

Probably upper east side. My girlfriend will be working in Midtown with long hours, so a short commute is a must.

The management co. of my building owns lots of properties on the UES. Not sure what you're looking for but they seem to be pretty reasonable and were easy to deal with. And there's no fee.

Time for the NY Boosters Club to arrange a shipment of Boost wheels from UK. Both the original 16 as well as ultra rare 18 inch versions.

I know I already tried unsuccessfully to convince you, but UWS is way cooler than UES and the transportation options over on the West side are more diverse than the East side. UES you only have the 6 train (unless you're planning to move right next to the 86th St station) which is one of the worst lines in the city.

But with that said, if you're looking to store stuff, Long Island City will likely be your cheapest bet, so UES may be closest/easiest to get there.

The reality is your first apartment is just that ... it's a place to allow you to establish your bearings in the city.

You will get as many opinions as the number of people you ask.

Prepare to feel violated financially and personally when you go through the rental process.
