Odd price difference

So my rear pinion seal is leaking again. I jumped online to check prices and order one. I looked at AB and RN. The price for the seal from AB was 4.95 the same part was 42.95 from RN. Wonder if I miss read something or what? Anyway just thought it was odd.

I would call both to confirm the part you are trying to order. That's a bit extreme.

There are 2 different seals depending on which style of mud shield/flange you are using. The old style seals fit flush with the diff housing and are expensive...$40.00ish. The new style has to be installed recessed into the diff case and has an external lip to work with the newer style of mud shield...they are much less expensive.
