Went to Ocracoke, NC on the Outer Banks this weekend. Showing off my new white steelies too. Thanks again Daie. And thanks to Larry and John from Rover Automotive.

Ocracoke is one of my favorite places to go. It rained its butt off the last day we were there as you can see from the ferry line.

What !! no rod & cooler rack ?? ...... For shame

Basically I homesteaded on the high tide mark, north point of Portsmouth all of last week in sight of Ocracoke and too brought back my share of sand to shake-out here in Charlotte...

Cheers

My family and I were there in June with the Rover Club, though sporting the new Jeep. It was a great trip. Came down through Beaufort, up to Cedar Island and caught the ferry to Ockrakoke. Stayed at the National Seashore Campground, which was pretty nice. Played at the beach, and Howards Pub was a definite must. Left via the Hatteras ferry, stopped by the Lighthouse, and then out through Manteo. It was a great weekend. Pics here:

Looks great Neil. I love the steelies with the Coniston! Don't think I could get away with them on the AA Yellow..... Hmmmmm has anyone ever put steelies on a yellow 90? Would probably look goofy

Great beach pics Will. Glad to see Rovers and Wranglers playing nice (my daily driver is a'07 Sahara Unlimited, but don't tell these guys).

I got them from a member on the boards. I really lucked out because the gentleman just had them painted alpine white. Just ask around, you'll find some.

It's a RN bumper with a Husky 10. Pricey, but I love it.

Thanks Burke, I've seen you on a couple of the JK boards. I really love the Jeep. Would love to have another 90, but the Rubicon really just works for me right now. I'm taking it wheeling this weekend at URE in NC. I'm sure I'll be the only Jeep there. Oh well, all my friends drive rovers!
