Nah, you just whip 'er over to the side of the road at a 7-eleven, grab one of the metal cigarette signs out front and spot weld her in.

Saw it done in a Bronco once, actually looked pretty good.

My 109 floor was like that. I bought a replacement but could not unbolt the old floor because it was sooo rusty. I ended up cutting out all the rust and then cutting the replacement piece to fit and welded it in. Here is a pic of the finished product. Not the best but it looks OK

Speaking of old Broncos, I knew a guy who had an EB that had a lawn mower blade welded into the door jam to hold it together...that wasn't the worst thing about it either...we named it "El Duece"

You guys and your welding! Us real rednecks up in NH use roofing tar to hold beer cans over the holes in the floor boards, that way when the breaks let give up you can slam your feet through the floor to help slow the car down.
