Despite the mainly Starbucks run crowd there are some serious off roaders here. Take a search for winter romp ... That's coming up if you fancy driving through some icy puddles.

I think we're talking about two different types of Boost Rims. I don't know what kind of Boost Rims come here to America.

People are being sarcastic .. You'll get the hang of the forum. Most people know each other well so are mocking one another.

What part of Europe are you going to? I'm going to Japan around September if I can get the time off. I was in the UK last year. I might go back to look for a 1989 Defender 110.

Stephen at safari HP has puma bonnets.

I'll be in Chamonix for 10days.

Everyone is looking for 25 year old 110's. you have to be lucky to get a good price. Most are overpriced junk.

Thanks-
My family and friends in Kent, Yorkshire, and East Sussex are looking for one for me. I may be able to get one for about 3,000-4,000 pounds in good shape. I would have to get my mate in Kent to fix it up a little. That's why I looking for a 1989. I would have to ship it here in 2014.

UPDATE!
I just saw boost rims on eBay going for 300-400 pounds. I even saw a set of 4 with Cooper tyres going for 600 pounds. I feel like I got beat. I brought mine in May of 2012 and paid 750 pounds. They must have known that I was from the States and jacked up the price. I feel like a fool.

Yes, that's what I was telling you yesterday...here's what mine came off of. The Disco had fewer than 10,000 miles on it when it slammed into a telephone pole. Rims were still perfect. Not made in China...

Be careful not to question the integrity of vendors and people before you get to know them. Stephen is well respected and sells the genuine article.

I don't know anything about Stephen. My response was for rijosho who suggested that I buy my bonnet from the guys who sold me my wheels. However, I question the integrity of every vender or seller until they prove themselves to be trustworthy. The person who sold me the 750 pound wheels was well recommended and respected. I don't make the same mistake twice.

I had to figure out who is "Stephen". After a brief search, I noticed that you ere talking about Stephen at safari HP. Who questioned their integrity? I questioned their prices. I didn't think about them after seeing how much they wanted for their puma bonnets. They do have things there that I could use. Like the Mud UK items.
