Not an original or my idea as credit is due to another Rover friend. But the plans are to join Uber today, then wait for the storm surge pricing. With a 7 seat LR4 and the d-90, seems a great idea...

Backroads and stay out of downtown/major metro area... At least that would be how I'd do it.

We are on the S.Shore (coast) which looks like one of a few "jackpot" areas.
I'm ready for it!

How about Haverhill? what are they saying about that area?

I think we are in the 24-30 tier. I live in an odd little valley next to the Merrimac which painfully has the most snow from each storm so I'm ready. Took the roof shovel out of storage and prepped the generator as well. Had already taken the chains out for Romp the other night for the d-90 so I'm good there... Good luck!

It was like 70*F just a day before the storm hit- we were sitting on the steps of our brownstone in tshirts....

Nobody loves a blizzard like New Englanders.

Uber surge pricing in rain can add $60 for about 30 blocks. I wonder what it would be today.

------ Follow up post added January 26th, 2015 03:01 PM ------

how many can you fit in the back of the 130? I'm about to go buy a driving cap

------ Follow up post added January 26th, 2015 03:07 PM ------

I have some cologne I bought in China town that smells like BO (probably rat urine inside)...we can spray the inside of your 130 to give our passengers an authentic feeling.
