not even down hill with a tail wind...

with changed gearing and non-standard tires it's safe to say that my speedometer is fairly inaccurate...

consequently I keep a gps in the truck to help me keep track of actual speed when I'm going down the road. While using it today I happened to check some of the extra fields it had available, total time, total time moving, overall average speed, average moving speed etc. including a Maximum speed you've gone since the last reset. I checked the max speed and then checked it again. All I could think was "Nope, didn't happen, COULDN'T happen, not even downhill with a tailwind" but there it was 103.2 mph

Yeah, my Garmin said maximum speed was 3xx mph when I looked at it. I think it must have been left on in the box when I carried it on the plane to CO with me or something...
