Not a bad thing to keep in your truck

I was just looking at getting some wire crimps and came across this on the Würth website homepage. I can definitely see the value in keeping something like this in your truck as a trail spare. A lot easier than carrying around a bunch of spare hoses.

I know it's not much help, but I keep a roll in the truck too. I found it at Lowes a few years ago.

I have been carrying it for a decade or so. Have only used it on a truck a couple times. I've had it in clear, black, and red.
Bought it @ boat shows

I'm seen it recently in lowes, home depot, NAPA, Advanced Auto. Good stuff. what I haven't been able to find is the rubber tape just like this silicone that vulcanizes itself to rubber. That stuff was also great for hose repairs. I had a role and used it most recently to repair a wear hole in one of my mantec snorkel hoses.

Lowes, NAPA, Ace, got all those places. Will check them out, Thanks. Won't go to Home Depot though, the one near my house is always a mess, I hate trying to shop there. 1st world problem I know...

For coolant hose emergency repair Permatex Form-A-Gasket no. 2 and PVC electrical tape works really well. I've had a repair last several years before replacing the hose, having forgotten about it.

Can't recall, but at least at NAPA, it's usually close to the counter. Should be easy to find. if not, ask.

This is what I use. It really does work, on water hoses and air hoses.
