nintendo wii

So I tagged along with a friend this morning to Target as they got a shipment of Wiis in, more out of curiosity than anything. Unbelivably, they sold out of all 70 in minutes. I got one really just because they appear to be a commodity anymore, but am now curious about it (I'm not really into video games). Is it worth keeping or should I go ahead and craigslist or ebay them?

I like old, classic, video games - the kind children will not play anymore. Like ATARI! But I have to say, Wii was purchased by a couple we were friends with - and it was easy to pick up and very addictive.............

I'm not a big video gamer guy either (except for Gran Turismo), but that Wii is some fun. Go make yourself a Mii, and then one for your wife, etc. You'll be at it for awhile.

Tony, if you aren't a gamer...you might as well cash in! Especially if you aren't sleepless nights about the Wii??? LOL

I'd try CL first, cut down on the scammers, since you can meet up locally with the buyer. I'm a bit leary when selling electronics on ebay...the scammers REALLY come out of the woodwork.

My son, recently got me hooked on Team Fortress (Orange Box)...that game is addictive!

Keep it. If you are old school like me Zelda and Mario are so much fun on wii.

I have a PS3 and no games for it (all I play is GT4 from PS2 and watch bluray).

BTW craigslist you will only make $50 or so over what you paid. I got mine for $325 where they are $267 with tax here.

Gran Turismo is the shit. I love that game. I can't tell you how many times I stayed up to 8am trying to beat a course!

Turns out addiction is not a pretty thing . . .

So now I need some recommendations on Wii games that aren't made for 6 year olds. Preferably either shooting-bad-guys or driving-like-a-maniac type games. The last video game I played was a grand theft auto that combined both and included hookers. That's my sweet spot. Hook me up.

Anyone have Jambo! Safari: Animal Resuce for the Wii? It was mentioned in ABs news letter. Check out the vehicle near the bottom of the page. Sweet!

Wii is the only video gaming thing in the house. Shootum up Call of Duty - used 3 times but the pistols purchased are crap , cycle GP used more and boxing is a big hit. We are not hard core, turns out we are much more into the FIT aspect, the balance games and skiing.
Wiis sell out fast here in CA but there are always loads on Craigs and around at he same price as the store.
