Nicest RR Classic ever

I need one like a hole in the head but Red Mountain Rovers has the nicest RR Classic I've ever seen. I'm too lazy to post the link but any serious Roverphile should have their site bookmarked. Somebody please buy it before I do something that my wife will use as leverage for new bathrooms.

That's funny. I used our new bathroom as leverage for the new Defender.

Agreed, there were like 3-4 RRCs on there I wasnt sure which one. But I did drool over the pastel green 130 so it wasn't a total waste.

Yeah seriously I had to google their full old name so I wasted time doing that, too. Your laziness has collateral damage.

I've never bookmarked their site and to lazy to search for it.
Failure to bookmark does not deny me the Roverphile label. Otherwise I wouldn't have a collection of parts for my rebuild sitting in the shop.
You should give your wife a new bathroom. My kids are getting one

That's the one:

I have no affiliation with the seller; I just thought it was extremely nice and someone here might like it.

I sold it to them....I happened to find it on the internet by accident....It was posted only about 5 minutes before I found it...called the guy and struck a deal immediately over the phone....it was 6 hours away and I couldn't go get it for a week because I had a vacation planned.....the guy (small used car dealer) said his word was good and that he'd hold it for me.....I called as soon as I got off the plane, he said he had over 200 calls and offers for twice our agreed upon price, but he had kept his word and held it for me.

The story was that it was bought new by a retired doctor who only used it to drive his dogs to the vet.

The damn thing is a time capsule...I bought it thinking I was going to give it to my son to drive, but he's only 14 now, so I decided to let it go and use the proceeds to buy him something more practical a little later.

That's a lot of wear in the interior for 47k miles. I do like the rostyles (minus the rust.)

I think the front bumper has the manual-crank start hole, too, which is pretty cool.

So apparently Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum - the once Emir of Dubai and VP/PM of the UAE - had this truck built. He was basically responsible for laying the framework for what Dubai is today.

Funny quote I came across from him, which was apparently his most famous:

"My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a camel, I drive a Mercedes, my son drives a Land Rover, his son will drive a Land Rover, but his son will ride a camel"

Is that the same sheikh from Cannonball Run?

Think that is a Vantagefield built RR.
