Nice NYC Defender

My brother is visiting NYC for a summer vacation and just sent me this picture. It was parked not too far from the apt that he is renting. Very nice!

Sliced wheel arches. But whose cage?

It is. Used to be Tony's.

Not too many portholed buildings in NYC - I can only think of 2 - and they're both downtown a couple of blocks from one another. Looks like the the Dream Hotel.

My brother is staying near W 17th St & 9th Ave. It was parked in that area.

Yeah that's where the Dream Downtown Hotel is located. Funny he hasn't seen Ronnie's NAS 110 yet.

Nice NYC Defender

Yep. It's mine. Was Tony's. Still has stickers on the windshield and bumper. I didn't put either on. And don't really care. I'll get to it at some point I suppose.

And yes, it's lockers.

And yes, trimmed wheel arches because it had 35s on it. Swapped for 33s. Still need to change the arches out at some point.

And yes, SD cage.

And yes, it's my daily driver and I wheel.

And no, fortunately I don't need NYC street cred. I earned it and promptly moved north.

And no, I'll never put boosts on it. I'm a west coast guy. It's either freestyles or wolfs all the way.

I guess you have to continue attending the West Cost Meet Up's (lol). Boost wheels are a requirement to be initiated (lol).

BTW, nice truck.

You kidding? I'd never hate on the ARB chair. I had a guy buy the one I was sitting on at MAR, it wasn't even for sale

I have two of those bad boys! They're awesome. Amazon $40-45 shipped last year. Can't beat that.

You are correct. I spend a lot of time in that area and live in Midtown
