Do they give themselves ticket every day for uncovered tires?

Nah ... That smells like local police chief likes jeeps and helped his mates shop trick out a truck with all the parts he wanted.

In 3 months campaign over, chief buys truck for pennies on the dollar ...

Drug dealers have way more style ...

Man, we don't give a damn about throwing rocks off our tires down here. Now that 89 year old lady in the 1997 Grand Marquis who has no business driving, she is what you have to be afraid of.

It's on a heep, so I can't really put it over on the "wheels that suck" thread. Plus, I kind of like it! A jeep Mondial wheel so to speak. Not a fan of the integrated nipple!

those are AEV Pintler wheels...apparently hot with wealthy Jeepers? Tricked rigs seem to have them for some reason.

My understanding is its usually up to the Chiefs of police. A lot of times they are given extra money by the state and buy whatever they may need. One I knew was told spend $X. He already had a helicopter, didn't need armored stuff so they bought a bunch of UAVs.

I have to admit to starting to like the four door's, its the closest thing to a 110 you can get around here (unless you want a 25+ year old truck, which probably isn't best for family duty), and can be had with a manual gearbox! Saw this one the other day an liked it enough to snap a pic as I drove by..

(picture is kinda crappy, sorry..)

How about grabbing an unsalvageable 101FC and throwing a Defender body on it? I'm not serious of course, but it seemed like a good place to post a pic of this thing I saw the other day on Pinterest. It gave me pause. A true "huh?" moment! I can't say that I hate it! ;-)

Hmmm, Interesting. Reminds me of a 404 Unimog conversion I once saw, wonder if I can find that picture..

Definitely photoshopped. Look at the door hinges.

LOL. The front door and seating area has a few impossibilities in it.

It's real. But haters gonna hate. I like it when my rear door opens with my front door. And this obviously uses an F1 seating position for ergonomics.
