Newish Member - New 90

After looking for a long time I finally pulled the trigger and got myself a D90. I picked her up from the transporter last week and drove her to work and am in love! Even though she was shipped enclosed she still managed to get pretty dirty so what started as a quick was has turned into a complete detail. Every time I make my way into another corner I find some interesting relics from the first and second owner.

I want to thank everyone here for the immense amount of knowledge and learning I have been able to gather before and during my purchase and hope that I can contribute in the near future. I especially want to thank Brian (Mybluett) for checking out the rig before I flew to Seattle who was more than knowledgable, Brian I owe you one.

Anyways, heres a couple shots I snapped back at work and I will try and get some more up this weekend...

Congrats and welcome aboard! Nice looking D90 - California plates? Thought you were in Long Island.

Good eye, when I picked her up I couldn't get the front plate off and figured it would be better to leave the Washington plates on rather than have a New York rear and Washington front.

Found her on Craigslist from a fellow in Seattle who was a car collector (service freak). First owner lived in Idaho and only used her for his fly fishing adventures in the summer. He put a little over 50,000 miles on her in 13 years and the second owner about 5,000 in the following 5 years. She came with so many spare parts that I haven't even been able to sort my way through all of them yet! I have big dreams for her, but then again don't we all. I almost feel guilty even looking at mods because she is stock as a rock except for some bilsteins...

Me too, I almost landed up with an Alpine White SW. Nothing against them, but I'm happier with the Conniston Green.

Congrats Will! I think there are more defenders per capita in Long Island more than any other city/town in the US. Oh, Adrian is correct... Park properly... Jerk!

Thanks for the warm welcome We have some very small spots and my co-workers ram doesn't fit in 1 spot so I figure why not make good use of the extra space...

Not sure if the first owner did but the PO had done it within the past 5 years. He did use the OEM hoses so I am debating how soon to change to stainless...
