Newbie from England

Hi all. I'm posting here as I've recently aquired an 86 Defender 90. It's an ex British army vehicle and is in the process of being converted into a NAS replica albeit without the V8! Petrol is $2.30 a litre here! Could someone post a picture of the rear of their truck as I can't seem to find a good shot of one. I'm also interestd to see what colours your cars came in as mine was black and green camouflage originally. I was thinking of bright yellow or red.

Thanks in advance.

Hey, welcome Gavin - PM me your email address and I'll send you a ton of pix I took of my truck for a potential buyer.

Are you building a NAS Station Wagon replica or Soft Top? Have you found a cage?

Hi, thanks for that, that'll be great. It's a soft top. Do you mean the external cage that goes round the windscreen? If so I haven't found one yet. For the rear it has the military roll hoop behind the cab and another one reversed at the back, sounds odd but looks good. I'll pm you my email address.

Thanks again.

You might try to hook up with member "Defender 50th". He is in the UK and has a 50th Anniversary Defender SW. It is very similar in appearance to the NAS Def's....
