New web browser

Anybody out there tried the new Firefox browser from Mozilla?

I'm using it now and there's a D-90 icon in my URL bar when I'm on this forum and I wondered if it did that on its own or if someone here was a programmer and put it in.

Either way, I think I'll keep running it for a while to see if I like it.

I just started using Mozilla - not bad. Although I still need explorer for Fantasy Football. I have the D-90 icon pop up as well.

The little yellow D90 icon for the site I put on a while ago. Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesnt, I think because of the sites framing. Once it breaks out of the frames, it should be there all the time for browsers that support it.

mozilla

we've had mozilla here at school since the beginning of the semester. More simplistic than IE. does pretty much everything explorer does, except with zero pop-ups(unless you want them).

I've been running Phoenix/Firebird/Firefox since its 0.1 release two years ago. Of course, I don't run Windows so I don't use IE. When I'm at a friends house and am forced to use IE I'm amazed at the number of pop-ups people are willing to put up with out there. How do you folks do it? I go into Hulk Smash mode.

I just use Google's toolbar and never see a pop-up window. Sometimes I have to turn it off per site, but not that often.

I second that! I have been using it since Beta, just click it for the sites you want to allow popups, like the d-90 source and you are good. Of course the popups on this site are telling you that you have a private message.
