New toy!

Well it seems that I have too much spare time on my hands. I found myself trawling ebay tonight, (after bidding ended on the other item I brought your attention to)
and came to the conclusion there is a monumental amount of high priced shite on the UK ebay site. (I'm talking Landrovers here) But I was only window shopping so that wasn't a problem...
Until I came across this little number; I wasn't interested in anything that was on auction so I was checking the 'classified ads'. This one was up for £4250.00 or best offer Soooo, I contacted the seller and offered a straight£4000...and he accepted! So I am now the proud owner of it. Not bad considering as I wasn't actually intending to purchase anything this evening.

We are off up to collect it on Friday. That's going to be a long day, Maybe I'll drive it back home rather than trailering it.
Herself is very happy also.

Looks Clean...

Nice example and a true 200TDI Defender engine as well.
Nice score...
Enjoy Old Stick!

Congratulations.
The link didn't open. How far do you have to drive to collect it?
WHat's the color called for that truck. Looks identical to Arles Blue.

Tidy looking 90 it is. I would imagine that a proper set of tyres (size) would set it off nicely.

Sorry about the link. Pics were uploaded from ebay into our desktop photo gallery which might explain why your link didn't work.
We've only got to drive 187 miles to collect it (each way) so it could be worse and the colour is listed as 'Windjammer Blue'.
The bulkhead looks absolutely mint and TBH everything on it looks as though it has been really well cared for.
Sorry to rub it in guys, but I am so pleased to have found myself a genuine deal that is sensibly priced.
