New to board

Hi Everyone

I have had my red 90 since new. I never knew about this board until some guy stopped in a parking lot about the truck and mentioned it.

Truck is bone stock with AC and KM1s. I have been running it topless since new as it is garaged and only used in nice weather. OUt of pure laziness I have had it serviced only at the dealer. I have about 36000 miles on it.

The soft top and a new hard top collect dust in my garage. Anyway just saying hello. Figure I will poke around and see if I can learn something about my truck. Looks like every thread is either about techincal issues or a horseyboy. Either way it looks entertaining.

Side note - yes I have steel oil cooler lines. Guy at the dealership ordered them for me.

Hi Jeff

Welcome to the board.

Few things you should know.

Horseyboy will never own a Defender
Ron is a hoarder
Neil bangs strippers.

Anything else is trivial

Also of some relevance to you, "ron" the "hoarder" is across the river in PA if you need something.

Jeff, welcome.

1. What town in NJ?
2. Which dealer did you buy your Defender from?
3. We're having a NYC meet-up on Thursday for happy hour if you want to come. We'll be right off of the Holland Tunnel in NYC.

Again thanks.

I will get some pics up. I am looking at some of these posts about Horsey laughing my ass off. Man poor bastard with no truck. I am picturing my little brother on his mongoose trying to keep up with me and my friends on our little yamaha dirt bikes. "Wait up guys, I want to come too"

------ Follow up post added March 23rd, 2010 04:35 PM ------

I live in Saddle River. I got the 90 from Prestige and that is still where it is serviced. I will try to meet up. This week might not be good.

Welcome aboard.

I see you already mentioned that you did the oil lines..... I'm going to agree with bjf, you're starting off strong around here.

I agree with Charles.

Until we see pics, we can't judge if you're catching enough panties on the rollcage yet. (Another inside joke around here).

Got up to get a drink of water to see my thread come alive. Thanks again for the welcome. I will get some pics. It is just bone stock red 90. I want to make some changes so I will post more in the technical section.

I agree with Barry, based on the stuff I have seen, Mark your joke is lame. Give it time, try your jokes out in the mirror first. If you can't even keep yourself interested, odds are no one else will be either.
Okay maybe that was a bit much for day one. Wait it is day 2.
