I too would like to see your truck. I know you are the only one on the board to never post an image.

please hang white sheets in your garage so we can see the exact shade of red. I think I can then determine the month it was built.

Nah, I've had it for a couple of years. I just haven't posted any pics here for a while. The flickr site is usually updated, though.

LOL....the main difference is that my site has pictures of trucks that I own and Barry's site is full of trucks he used to own.

The blind spots are ridiculous. When you change lanes, you have to use the Force. Mostly I just drift slowly into the other lane and listen for horns honking.

I told you months ago that you sold the wrong truck. Even your dog knows that you screwed up.

In all seriousness you think keeping that 110 would have been the smarter move?

Do I need to scan the receipts.

NAS 110s are shit but it seems as though it needs to be a buy-and-find-out approach with a lot of people. All you need to do is read a few threads here and look at the ECR site to see how many 110 projects they have. I'm sure all 500 have been through them at some point (ok, that's an exaggeration but they've had a lot for a reason). The NAS 110s are not the magical unicorns that people make them out to be. I should know, I've never owned one.

Brian, your 90 looks pretty sweet. I looked for a black 97 until I finally gave up and went with White. Kinda a white storm-trooper look with black wheels trim, etc. Never owned a 110 but will at some point. my perception was that long term a NAS would hold it's value over an import. Now that I'm seeing some of the recent 110's I'm swaying the other way.

Are there any members on here that have a ECR 110? Seems to me after Mike goes over these trucks they are like new. Truly beautiful to me. That has a value in it's self.

I am going to agree with Brian. He saw most of the work I did on my 110 and saw it time after time break. Yeah its great if you full restore it and update every single piece of it but by the time you are done all you have is a new truck with a 93 title and a cage. People want NAS 110s but lets face facts they are complete shit. what people want are restored NAS trucks to new specs.

For average people who don't have fully restored trucks the NAS 110 is a 17 year old money pit.

After removing the cage from my NAS 110 and redoing it I can say I would never buy that cage. I would do an internal one but the idea of cutting holes in a truck is just asking for areas to leak.

Here you go

That's a good looking 110. I recall reading about a decked out nene 110 in LRM (Black I think) and it was probably the best one I've seen. Kinda like this one

Not sure what it is about the cage but I really like the look. Thanks for the pic. I like to collect rover porn.

I'm just the opposite, the more ROW trucks I see, the less I like the roll-cage, especially on the 110s. It's fine on the NAS 90s, it defines an era for those trucks, on the 110...not so much.

Okay. Are you sure yours isn't a red 97 ST? Someone mentioned this one is in NJ

Always wondered who owned that one

I agree with you. I make a quick choice on which Defender I bought (my Toyota was bought back due to recall and I had a check in hand and no truck…) I went the ROW route and I do not regret it. I do not have a cage for it but if I did it would look exactly like the one attached…..

And by the way that is a sick looking truck.
